Veteran producer DJ D-Skillz ushers in a new era with his 3rd album, "Back to the Present." Looking ahead to a post-pandemic return to normalcy, "Back to the Present" rings deeply personal in contrast to 2020's "CTRL ALT DELETE", which gave voice to humanity's collective anxiety in a world gripped by a global pandemic and increasing social upheaval. A unique blend of hip-hop, electronic, classical, pop, and dance influences, "Back to the Present" invites us all to re-chart our course after a year that threw us all off track. The carefully curated clips from familiar voices draw the listener in to DJ D-Skillz's own journey as a budding musician developing a sound all his own. Mostly mellow, downtempo tracks with a few surprises, "Back to the Present" aims to have your head nodding, toes tapping, and booty shaking. Listen with the volume turned WAY up!
